Our Story
Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer Charitable Trust supports individuals affected by a life-changing breast cancer diagnosis — including those living with the condition, plus their families, friends, and supporters. Through community support like Breast Mates Central Support Group and the Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer Choir, the charity creates safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect and build supportive relationships. They also run weekly coffee mornings across the West Midlands, offer counselling, and provide a wide range of wellbeing and practical support through the LFBC Hub. Like many community organisations, they are deeply focused on delivering for service users, while also needing to evidence impact and accessibility to secure ongoing funding.

The support focused on strengthening a grant application and ensuring the organisation could clearly evidence need, impact, and reach. Jane guided the team through practical fact finding, identifying key surveys, evidence, and supporting information that would otherwise have been missed. She also recommended implementing Google Translate on the website — a simple change that has already improved accessibility for BAME service users and helped the charity engage more widely.
