Guide to what is required to start your business

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

By the end of the programme, you will have a clear plan on how to progress your idea into reality. This programme is designed for individuals yet to establish their business. It is a grant funded programme which is administered by the County Council who also offers grants of up to £5,000 at a rate of 40% match funding to eligible SMEs. This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Worcestershire County Council is part-funding, delivering, and managing this project on behalf of the Worcestershire District Councils (Bromsgrove District Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Redditch Borough Council, Wychavon District Council, and Wyre Forest District Council).
